road signs

Triangular signs are meant to warn the dangerous ahead of journey
square one are passion but still you will have to obey the sign because it is the law

circle signs are speed limits and warning for smaller or larger vehicles on the road

Looking at these have inspired me to use the idea for my game as tokens to collect for my avatar to get on their quest before the goblin gets them

my traditional drawing

 These are my two manipulated images with my character as a side view and a front view I've only done two as I am only using two perspective of my character in my game plan a front view and a side view he is suppose to blend in with the scenery as he is a natural in these woods so he is covered in vines thorns and leaves as part of his body and legs, arms and head. I have now done my tokens in my scenery with the goblin and I've quite the hidden tokens very well so its a finding game
 here is his colours he changes with the seasons.
This is my crazy drawing of a goblin fly eyes and vines with thorns with no body this is my character for the game design for visual recordings, As i am a bad drawer i didn't know what to draw so i used my creative skills to help me and this was my outcome i will i will use these details for the person of my character will not spotted so easily by the fairy all covered in vines like the trees and rivers

Dartmoor trip

 this is my story board of these pictures
The way this rock as laid itself out with the plants with the holes underneath the rock as little hiding holes

Its a rocky path on a hill or a slope to get from one side to the other
The only tree part was really unique how its standing without any other trees
There's a bridge behind the rocky slope/ or high path with a elder tree in the way to find the hidden items and to get to another destination
The old broken fortress with no doors or windows amazing to be on the inside an enchanted fairy kingdom and the outside is this crumbling building
 The old fortress again but it looks smaller on the inside
The rocky slope part two this slope was really high and difficult to climb

The spy hole in the fortress was to look out for demons and evil little goblins

 The broken down fortress from the back

 The broken tree was a way back to your home base

 Finding the hidden treasure inside this rocky up straight mountian

 This is the rocks that hides the evil Goblin Zaex we must destroy him

 Another path way to follow to find your items going down this slope but be ware goblins maybe hiding the brushes

 The trickery goblin hide where there is your hidden items in it for you to find but there goblin foot prints the smell of goblin in the air

 The magical stream where you can gain back your health and mana after running around finding the items

 The fairies hang out place away from the fortress and hidden away from the goblin

The Summary of this story board is a goblin treasure hunt you'll have to find the things listed to you by tracking the goblins footprints before they find you, the old fortress is your base and to summon yourself there by using the broken tree the fairies will help you find the things you are looking for. the type of things you will searching for is fairy wings, golden leaves, acorns and tree seeds that give you health and mana as your journey continues looking for these enchanted items, you'll have to find the evil goblin Zaex with your items and claim his cave then return back to the fortress and report to the fairy king.

Today we went to Burrator to get some photography done for our backgrounds we split up in to teams so we weren't on our own my team went all the way around in four hours we had a good time and had a laugh racing up the hill and climbing around the rocks i got beaten up by the nature there which was funny every one seemed to have a good time when we went out of classroom doing something completely different we got some wonderful snap shots of the scenery there. We saw some amazing wildlife

flash demo

 This is the demo we have just done in flash action script 3.0 create a bubble type shape then create a new layer for a target aka a shape to follow the line we done it in three separate stages layer 2 press f6 on frame 120 then layer 1 go to frame 20 press f6 then move the target a third around the bubble then go to frame 40 press f6 then move the target around a third around again then again the from frame 60 to frame 120 making sure its back in the spot to it started on. This demo is not the easiest to follow convert to a movie clip create new layer in frame 40 put in blank key frame.
 snippet coding movieclickroot (target.x=mathrandom)"620
moviecliproot(target.y=mathrandom) "250
   var score:Number =0

target.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, fl_target);

function fl_target(event:MouseEvent):void
{
score +=1
scoreText.text="Score"+String(score)
    trace("SCORE")
}
this bit of coding will count the times numbers of clicks on the target as its moving around the screen then when it gets back to the starting point it reset the score back to zero,

primary research at the museum

We went to the museum today to look at draw me a story, I looked at the contrast of simple colours and line drawings of the simple drawn characters in the frames, i took some photos on my phone of the framed art work and there was a different verity of cartoons and illustrations of the art work. In all it was quite nice to get out of the classroom to do some research in a different area out of the college, there was a few old school pictures I noticed captain pug wash, Noddy, Snow white's turtle carrying dishes, Thomas the tank engine, Rupert the bear, bag puss and Ivor the engine which was really nice to see the original drawings
